Game Review: Killing Floor 2
With improved graphics and new maps, does the new killing floor live up to its predecessor?

Killing Floor 2 is a zombie survival game where there can be anywhere between 1 to 6 players (the maximum can go above 6 however this is the standard). Players are tasked with waves after waves of zombie (known as zeds) attacks with a limited time to shop, repair doors and find suitable places to hole up in during the attack. The game is very fast paced and co-operation between players is a must in order to progress through the waves. The game mechanics are simple with the only unique feature being the "ZED Time" which changes the game pace to slow motion for a period of time, to give players room to breathe. There are multiple classes and zombie types which are the main focus of the game.
Classes

Beserker
The melee class of the game, this class is for risk takers and players who like to get in and
get dirty (bloody).

Commando
The standard assault class, commandos specialise in shooting bullets into zeds as well as having a unique ability to allow team mates to see stalkers (see below).

Support
Less about healing your team mates and warding lanes and more about shooting multiple bullets into zeds (shotguns). The support possess a few unique team abilities including refilling a teammates ammo once a round, and Zed time.

Field Medic
Arguably the support of the game, the field medic as its name implys is the class focused on heals and keeping your team alive in the zombie outbreak. The medic has multiple perks which force the player to decide if they want to buff themselves or give team wide buffs.

Zombie Specimens

Clot
The Clot is one of the most weakest zombies and also the most common, these zeds have hte ability to grab players.

Stalker
Stalkers are weak but are able to camouflage themselves in their surroundings.

Crawler
Crawlers are the weakest zeds in Killing Floor, however they often travel in groups and appear from unsuspecting places.

Bloat
Large and slow with lots of health, these zeds take some time to bring down and also sprew corrosive bile at targets.

Gorefast
These zeds have hte ability to charge at players in a short range

Scrake
A very tanky zed, the scrake will charge at players when they hit low health.

Fleshpound
The most powerful zed, these zombies take a huge beating and dish out tons of damage. Fleshpounds will charge at players if they spot someone in their sights for a prolonged amount of time and are unabel to attack them, or incur a  specific amount of damage within a certain time period.

There are a few other specimens as well, but we'll leave you to discover them for yourself.

In conclusion, Killing Floor 2 is not substantially different from the first of the series, with the main differences being graphics and maps, this however does not take away from the game, as it still focuses on its main selling points, a bloody battle for survival.
